Our philosophy is unchanged from that of Blessed Antonio Rosmini, our founder, who believed that a ‘pupil must be allowed to grow and develop as an integrated human person’. We are proud to encourage and support young people to realise their potential, to challenge them and engage them on all levels resulting in well-balanced, confident and capable young adults.
Our teacher-student ratio in the Senior School is 1:7, which allows for an unusually high level of individualised academic support. This is reflected in our public examination results (75% A*-B at A Level and 69% A*-B at GCSE in 2016) which, for a non-selective school, are truly outstanding.
Our students are drawn from a variety of social, cultural and religious backgrounds. We welcome those who embrace diversity and value Christian ideals, irrespective of their personal faith at any stage in their educational journey.
