A Premium Place to Play and Learn Opens for Little Ones in Loughborough posted on October 5, 2016

A new premium nursery in Loughborough is now officially open, offering families in the community places for up to 60 local children.

The Mayor and Mayoress of Charnwood cut the ribbon at The Nursery, located on Garton Road at Our Lady’s Convent School’s campus, at a special ceremony on Saturday 1st October.

The Nursery, which is part of Loughborough Endowed Schools, provides high quality childcare for babies aged from six weeks to youngsters up to the age of four from 7:30am to 6:00pm on weekdays, 51 weeks of the year, excluding bank holidays.

Nursery manager Carla Brindley is delighted to see the nursery now officially open. She said: “It was fantastic to show the Mayor and Mayoress around our spacious new facilities and introduce them to our nursery staff.

“We have a very experienced team of early years professionals in place. Parents can feel comfortable leaving their little ones here knowing they will be very well looked after.”

The Nursery is all at ground floor level and has been fully equipped with a gymnasium and exciting outdoor spaces. A dedicated nursery chef produces nutritious, freshly-prepared meals every day, which are served in a separate dining room.

Carla added: “In order to support busy mums and dads, our ‘all-inclusive’ fees include nappies, formula milk and other consumables. Most importantly we ensure their children have lots of fun in a creative, social and stimulating environment.”

After cutting the ribbon to officially open The Nursery, Councillor Gaskell said, “It gives us both great pleasure to officially open this excellent facility, clearly a valuable addition to the local community and the Loughborough Endowed Schools.”
